How has Karwan-e-Hayat minimized this challenge?
Karwan-e-Hayat is dedicated to becoming a premier center for mental health education, offering comprehensive internship programs for students across various academic disciplines, especially those specializing in psychology and psychiatric nursing. Every year, over 400 students from esteemed institutions such as Aga Khan School of Nursing and Midwifery, Bahria University, and Ziauddin University gain invaluable hands-on experience in mental health care through our programs.
Beyond internships, Karwan-e-Hayat actively promotes mental wellness through its School Mental Health Program. This program is a comprehensive year-round package of regular awareness and engagement sessions with leading educational institutions across Karachi. Till date, Karwan-e-Hayat has had mental health awareness sessions at institutions including IBA Karachi, Beaconhouse System, Nasra School, Sun Academy, Rose Educational Society and The CAS School. These sessions play a crucial role in enhancing mental health awareness among students and faculty, addressing the pressures of academic stress, and fostering a supportive environment for mental well-being.
