Karwan-e-Hayat celebrated World Mental Health Day. Members of the psychiatric fraternity also joined the event and took active part in discussing the issues regarding the stigma around mental health. Students of renowned universities such as Karachi University, Bahria University, Jinnah University, Ziauddin University and Federal Urdu University participated and also set up various stalls to support the cause of Karwan-e-Hayat along with an open house Q/A session with the experts.

The speakers of this event included honorable Chairman Mohammad Saleem , CEO , Zaheer uddin Ahma, CMO Uroosa Talib, Dr Ajmal Kazm, Prof Dr Qudsia Tarique, Dr Raza Ur Rehman, Prof Dr Khalida Rauf.

A special theatre act regarding the ‘Mental Health Problems in Society’ was also conducted by IRD.
