Sham-e-Khusro

A Fundraising Evening (2025)

Karwan-e-Hayat presented “Sham-e-Khusro”, a two-day fundraising event held on 1st and 2nd February 2025 at the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture. The evenings were dedicated to celebrating the immortal poetry and melodies of Amir Khusro, honoring his extraordinary creative genius and enduring influence on South Asian music and literature.

The program featured evocative performances that reflected the depth, spirituality, and timeless beauty of Khusro’s legacy, creating an atmosphere of reflection and cultural reverence. Sham-eKhusro brought together artists, patrons, and supporters for a meaningful cultural experience rooted in heritage and compassion.

Proceeds from the event supported Karwan-e-Hayat’s mission to provide free and subsidized mental health care, rehabilitation, and community outreach services for underprivileged individuals. Through initiatives such as Sham-e-Khusro, Karwan-e-Hayat continues to unite art,
culture, and social responsibility in service of mental well-being.

A Tribute to

Nayyara Noor (2024)

Karwan-e-Hayat, in association with Arshad Mahmud, proudly hosted “A Tribute to Nayyara Noor” on the 24th and 25th of November, a musical evening celebrating the life and legacy of one of Pakistan’s most beloved and legendary singers. This enchanting event honored Nayyara Noor’s immortal melodies that have touched generations and continue to inspire audiences worldwide.

Held at the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture, the evening brought together music enthusiasts, philanthropists, and supporters of mental health care for a night of culture, remembrance, and community engagement. Funds raised through this event were directed toward supporting Karwan-e-Hayat’s mission of providing accessible and compassionate mental health services to those in need.

The event stood as a beautiful testament to how art and philanthropy can come together to create meaningful impact, ensuring that the legacy of both music and mental health support continues to flourish.

Faiz Ki Mohabbat Mein

Poetry & Music Fundraiser (2020)

Karwan-e-Hayat hosted “Faiz Ki Mohabbat Mein”, a two-day fundraising event on 8th and 9th February 2020 at the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture. The evening was a moving celebration of poetry and music, honoring the life, thought, and timeless legacy of Pakistan’s beloved and visionary poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz.

The event brought together poetry enthusiasts, artists, and supporters for an evocative experience that reflected Faiz’s enduring messages of love, resilience, and social justice. Through carefully curated recitations and musical performances, the program created an atmosphere of reflection and cultural appreciation.

AAJ RUNG HAI

An Enchanting Evening of Qawwali –
Fundraising Event (2019)

Karwan-e-Hayat hosted an enchanting two-day fundraising event on 2nd and 3rd March 2019 at the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture, celebrating the timeless tradition of qawwali. The evenings featured spellbinding performances by the celebrated maestros Ustad
Fariduddin Ayaz and Ustad Abu Muhammad, whose soulful renditions captivated the audience.

The event brought together patrons of the arts, supporters, and members of the community for an immersive cultural experience rooted in spiritual and musical heritage. Proceeds from the fundraiser supported Karwan-e-Hayat’s mission to provide free and subsidized mental health care, rehabilitation, and community outreach services for underprivileged individuals.

Yaadein

A Musical Fundraiser (2018)

Karwan-e-Hayat organized a special fundraising event titled “Yaadein” on 17th and 18th February 2018 at the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture. The two-day musical evening was conceived as a heartfelt tribute to Pakistan’s legendary ghazal singers and their timeless melodies.

Renowned vocalist Humera Channa led the performances, captivating the audience with soulful renditions that celebrated the richness of classical and contemporary ghazal music. The event brought together music lovers, patrons of the arts, and supporters of mental health, creating an atmosphere of nostalgia, reflection, and cultural appreciation.

“Yaadein” successfully combined artistic expression with a humanitarian purpose. Proceeds from the event directly supported Karwan-e-Hayat’s mental health services, enabling the organization to continue providing free and subsidized psychiatric care, rehabilitation, and community outreach programs for the underprivileged.

LOL Waalay

An Improvisational Comedy Fundraiser (2018)

Karwan-e-Hayat organized “LOL Waalay”, an improvisational comedy fundraising event, on 2nd December 2018 at the F.T.C. Auditorium. The event featured dynamic and spontaneous performances that delighted audiences with sharp wit, creativity, and interactive humor.

The evening brought together supporters, patrons, and members of the community for an engaging and uplifting experience, using laughter as a powerful medium to promote compassion and collective responsibility. Proceeds from the event contributed toward supporting Karwan-eHayat’s mental health services, including free and subsidized treatment, rehabilitation, and community outreach for individuals in need.

Comedy Night

A Fundraising Evening (2017)

Karwan-e-Hayat organized “Comedy Night”, a classic stand-up comedy fundraising event, on 25th November at the F.TC. Auditorium. The evening featured popular comedians Saad Haroon and Danish Ali, who entertained the audience with witty and engaging performances.

The event brought together supporters, patrons, and members of the community for an evening of laughter with a meaningful purpose. Proceeds from Comedy Night directly supported Karwane-Hayat’s ongoing efforts to provide free and subsidized mental health care, rehabilitation, and community outreach services to individuals in need
